Weak signals are converted into electrical signals by various sensors. The electrical signals output by sensors are usually low in frequency and very weak, and need to be amplified and output by a preamplifier.

In the weak signal detection system, the preamplifier is the key module of the entire detection system, which makes the test and research of the low noise preamplifier particularly important. The signals output by the sensor are low-frequency weak signals with a signal amplitude of 10μV-5mV. The frequency is concentrated within 1KHz-100MHz, which requires the amplifier to have low noise and high gain.

Weak photoelectric signal detection system: It is composed of photoelectric conversion part, pre-amplification part, multi-stage amplification part, active filtering part, and data transmission part. The operating frequency is required to be 5MHz, the gain is greater than 500 times, and the equivalent input noise is nanovolts. The collected signals are sent to the upper computer through the data acquisition card for processing, and the weak signal detection method is used to program the upper computer to achieve Noise processing simulation, and comparative analysis.

What this article introduces is a low-noise, high-gain pre-micro signal amplifier, powered by an ultra-low-noise power supply, and a voltage gain of 60dB. It is mainly used in the detection of infrared sensors, the detection of weak magnetic field sensors, and the light detection of phototransistors.
