Experiment name:
Acousto-optic mode conversion experiment based on piezoelectric ceramics
Research direction: fiber mode
Experiment content:
Using high frequency and high voltage signal to drive piezoelectric ceramic vibrating fiber to produce mode conversion
Test purpose:
use the power amplifier to amplify the driving voltage to achieve high-efficiency vibration of piezoelectric ceramics
Test equipment: piezoelectric ceramics
Amplifier model: Aigtek: ATA-2022H
experiment procedure:
The high-frequency sinusoidal signal (near 1 MHz) generated by the signal generator passes through the high-frequency voltage amplifier, and the amplitude (peak-to-peak value) is amplified to about one hundred volts, which can drive the piezoelectric ceramic sheet to vibrate well and produce what we need High-frequency effective vibration realizes mode conversion experiment.

Test Results:
The amplitude of the signal voltage output by the signal generator is very low, the driving ability of the piezoelectric ceramic sheet is weak, and its vibration efficiency is very low, which cannot meet the high frequency and high efficiency vibration we need for mode conversion. After adding a high-voltage power amplifier, the driving voltage is greatly increased, which makes the piezoelectric ceramic sheet vibrate strongly, and the acousto-optic effect generated by it is strong, and the mode coupling experiment results are ideal.

The performance of the power amplifier in this experiment:
high frequency voltage amplification, driving piezoelectric ceramic vibration
The reason you choose this amplifier: good amplification effect, stable output
